Call Centre Representative – Outbound Call Centre
Permanent part-time position.
The Canadian Opera Company (COC) is looking for articulate, professional and dynamic Call Centre Representatives to join our highly successful front-line staff to contact existing and potential subscribers and donors through our in-house Sales and Acquisition office. Representatives work on various programs including subscription sales and annual fundraising projects.
- Making out-bound telephone calls
- Successfully soliciting subscriptions and charitable gifts for the COC
- Expanding your knowledge of art through opera
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. In order to apply, candidates must be able to commit to this 20-hour-per-week schedule. Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner are key success factors. In addition, you are self-motivated and have previous experience in sales/fundraising. Knowledge of opera and/or the performing arts, in general, is considered an asset.
In this role, your earning potential is linked to a performance-based wage scale.
